Newcomers of Signal Mountain

Our mountain is a beautiful place and a special place to live. Newcomers is just one of the organizations ready to invite you into this wonderful community. The group was established in 1979 by the Community Guild in response to a recognized need to reach out and welcome the growing numbers of new residents on Signal Mountain. The Guild's nurturing, support and guidance allowed the group to grow and strengthen quickly, and in 1995, Signal Mountain Newcomers became a separate and independent organization.

We are a social and service organization that encourages involvement in the community and sponsors activities for members to meet new friends and neighbors.

All residents are welcome to join Newcomers and we invite you to our monthly meetings held the third Tuesday of each month (Sept. - May) at 10:00 a.m. We meet at the Walden Town Hall on Taft Highway.

There is something for everyone, so come to our meetings and get involved, make new friends, and have lasting memories!

Please visit the online calendar for more information of upcoming events.
